設計主題

DESIGN THEME

設計主題自訂。為鼓勵參賽者多關注全球環境生態議題、倡導永續時尚並深入觀察社會趨勢，評分特別著重「創意」、「永續」、「功能」、「機能」。參賽者可就靈感來源、設計、布料、素材、版型、印花、設計細節等角度，呼應議題並闡釋創新觀點。

Self-selected design them for menswear, womenswear or for both. However, rating will focus on CREATIVITY, SUSTAINABILITY, FUNCTION and PERFORMANCE to encourage contestants to pay more attention on global environmental issues, promote sustainable fashion, and observe social trends in depth. Contestants can present innovative ideas connected to the above topics in different aspects of inspiration, design, fabric, material, pattern-making, printing and details, etc.

競賽工作時程

CONTEST SCHEDULE

一、報名繳件日期：2025年4月8日至6月30日
建議儘早於6月初完成報名以確保自身參賽權益。
若要報名多組作品，請使用不同電子郵件註冊參賽。

4. 參賽作品說明－包含主題名稱、靈感來源、設計理念等說明。參賽作品可運用人工智慧（AI）作為創作輔助工具，但需附上作品描述和說明創作中所使用的 AI 技術(包括揭露使用AI的程度和範圍)，作品需符合原創精神，不得涉及任何形式的爭議，且不得侵犯第三方的智慧財產權。
5. 彩色服飾系列設計稿五套及使用布料之照片，如有特殊穿法請說明。
每套服裝正反面機械圖合併繪製於一張。
布料照片可直接掃描、用手機或相機拍攝，呈現素材真實質感，每套服裝使用之所有布料照片請合併排版於一張。
請依照以下設定提供設計稿及布料照片，其他格式可能導致圖片壓縮變形，影響作品呈現。
方向設定：直式(若原始設計稿為橫式排版，請將圖片逆時針轉向90°後以直式上傳系統)。
尺寸設定：寬18cmx高25.2cm (寬1063像素x高1488像素)
解析度設定：150dpi (像素/英吋)
格式：限定jpg或jpeg，影像檔案大小1M以內。
6. 服裝成品照片，提供彩色服飾系列設計稿中至少一套以上服裝成品正反面照片各一張，請依照以下設定提供照片，其他格式可能導致圖片壓縮變形，影響作品呈現。
方向設定：直式
尺寸設定：寬18cmx高25.2cm (寬1063像素x高1488像素)
解析度設定：
150dpi (像素/英吋)
檔案格式：限定jpg或jpeg，影像檔案大小1M以內。
步驟二：6月30日前於競賽官網線上通知審核競賽作品
完成所有參賽資料後，於報名系統點選「通知審核競賽作品」按鈕，收到系統確認訊息即完成參賽。

二、初賽日期：7月22日
主辦單位將從參賽者中評選出12位入圍者，入圍名單將於當天晚上公布於官網。

三、決賽入圍者服裝繳件日期：8月15日(親送或郵戳為憑)
1.繳件內容：五套服飾、配件(運費由參賽者自行負擔)
2.拍照日期8月27日、試穿日期9月25日(暫定)
(1)請提供決賽動態展演希望之模特兒表現方式及音樂風格供秀導參考(約5分鐘音樂由秀導配樂，若自備音樂則需提供「財團法人台灣錄音著作權人協會使用權」及「社團法人中華音樂著作權協會使用權」之合法授權證明予主辦單位)。
(2)模特兒、化妝造型及音樂形式由主辦單位統籌。
(3)決賽入圍者本人必要參加決賽各項活動，如有要事，可委請委託人代理，惟委託人需能代為決定。

四、決賽暨頒獎典禮日期：10月份(配合臺北時裝週日程)

I. THE REGISTRATION starts from April 8 to June 30, 2025.
Finish registration by early June is strongly advised.

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION
Please use Google Chrome browser to go to the official website https://www.tfdaward.com/ and complete the online registration. Fill in related information and upload images online.

(4) DESIGN DESCRIPTION
Containing design theme, concept / inspiration and explanation of the connection between the design and PERFORMANCE, SUSTAINABILITY and FUNCTION. Entries may utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a creative assistance tool. However, a description of the work must be provided, along with an explanation of the AI technologies used in the creation process, including disclosure of the extent and scope of AI usage. The work must comply with the spirit of originality, must not involve any form of dispute, and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.
(5) COLORED DESIGN SKETCH OF 5 OUTFITS and FABRIC IMAGES
Front side and back side technical drawings. Note any special way of wearing if necessary. Fabrics can be directly scanned, photographed with a mobile phone or camera to present the true texture of the material. Images of all fabrics used in each outfit should be combined into one. Please follow the suggested format to set up the colored design sketch and fabric images. Using other formats may result in image compression or distortion.
- Orientation Settings: vertical. If the original colored design sketch is horizontal, please rotate the image counterclockwise by 90° and upload it to the system in vertical.
- Image size setting: 18 cm (width) x 25.2 cm (length), or
1063 pixels (width) x 1488 pixels (length).
- Resolution setting: 150 dpi (pixels/inch).
- Image file format: jpg or jpeg format only, with a file size less than 1MB.
(6) FINISHED OUTFIT IMAGES
Total look of front side and back side, 1 outfit at the minimum. Please follow the suggested format to set up the colored design sketch and fabric images. Using other formats may result in image compression or distortion.
- Orientation Settings: vertical.
- Image size setting: 18 cm (width) x 25.2 cm (length), or
1063 pixels (width) x 1488 pixels (length).
- Resolution setting: 150 dpi (pixels/inch).

2. Notify for Competition Entries Review online through the TFDA website by June 30.
After filling all the competition entry information, click the "Notify for Entries Review" button in the registration system. Once you receive the system confirmation message, your registration is complete.

II. PRELIMINARY SELECTION: July 22.
12 finalists will be selected. The shortlist will be announced on the official website.

III. THE FINALISTS OUTFIT SUBMISSION due on August 15.
(1) 5 outfits should be made and submitted with matching accessories (if applicable), shipping and postmarked by the due date. Shipping fee, taxes, handling fees, etc. shall be paid by the contestants.
(2) PHOTO SHOOTING on August 27, and FITTING on September 25 (tentatively).
A. Finalists can provide the ideas of how the models present on the runway, and the music for the runway show will be prepared by the fashion show director. Finalists must provide public broadcast authorization documents if the 5-minute music is prepared on their own.
B. The organizer will be in charge of the total arrangement of models, hair style making, makeup and music.
C. Finalists are responsible for attending all the activities related to the final contest. In case of necessary absence, a deputy should be appointed to represent him / her.

IV. FINAL CONTEST - THE RUNWAY SHOW AND THE AWARDS CEREMONY: in October (During Taipei Fashion Week).

JURY

本競賽活動將邀請國際時尚設計領域知名設計師、產業專家及媒體工作者擔任評審，使評審作業達公平、客觀。競賽將由評審團評選出得獎名單，實際評選出之組數將視作品水準而調整，如作品經評核未達評審標準，該獎項將「從缺」，參賽者不得異議。

Winners will be selected by the international jury, which inclusive of well-known designers, fashion industry professionals and fashion media. The jury will decide the number of final winners. It is possible to leave a prize/prizes vacant due to lack of qualified design works.

Winners will have the priority for:
- recommendation to well-known Taiwan / international fashion-related companies.

競賽規則

TERMS & CONDITIONS

一、本競賽須以個人名義參加，參賽者須保證其設計作品確為自行創作，且不曾用於商業活動之發表，另亦無抄襲、盜用、冒名頂替或侵犯他人權益與著作權等情事，並遵守作品規格之要求，參賽作品若經檢舉或主辦方自行發現有上述情事者，除移送學校或所屬機構依校規及相關規定處理，主辦方將取消其參賽或得獎資格，並追回所有獎勵，另禁止其三年內再次參加本項競賽，若因此造成第三人受有損害，應由參賽人自行負責。
二、繳交作品時，每套服裝請以衣架與拉鍊封閉式衣套保護，並於每套保護衣套外之
右上角緊貼參賽編號、服裝全身正反面照片、特殊穿法圖示及內容物明細；另於所有服裝、配件非表面處註明參賽編號，如未依規定加註標示，致物品遺失或損壞，未能完整展出，將由參賽者自行負責，不得異議。
三、相關作品不得加註參賽者姓名或其他記號，若有違反之情節，本會有自行決定是否予以參賽之權利。
四、參賽作品繳件運送之費用請參賽者自行負擔，繳交作品必需於規定期限前送達，逾時未繳交即取消資格。並請妥善包裝參賽作品，若因運送所造成損傷、遺失，參賽者需自行負責不得異議，另為比賽之公平性，決賽入圍者繳交入圍作品後，方得領取入圍獎金。
五、主辦單位將以E-MAIL方式通知入圍結果，入圍名單及決賽得獎名單並公佈於競賽官網、紡拓會網站等。決賽之參賽作品，請於本會通知期限內領回，逾時主辦單位不負保管之責任。
六、決賽入圍者及其作品需配合主辦單位所安排之適當場所公開發表，執行單位擁有得獎作品攝錄影之版權，並有權以任何形式複製有關照片及影音、光碟等，俾利推廣宣傳本項競賽，主辦單位於決賽後得擁有其對外公開展示權及使用權。
七、決賽入圍者使用之走秀音樂/特製進場/退場音樂，得依設計主題請秀導配樂，若自備音樂務必取得「財團法人台灣錄音著作權人協會使用權」及「社團法人中華音樂著作權協會使用權」之合法授權並提具證明予主辦單位方得使用，如版權未妥善處理或未經授權使用遭第三人提出侵權通知，由參賽者自行承擔一切相關法律責任。
八、決賽入圍者負擔應出席決賽之義務，如未出席或未繳件皆視同棄權，將無條件取消入圍資格及喪失一千元美金之入圍獎金。
九、凡報名參加本競賽，即視為確實瞭解競賽規則，並願遵守本規則所述之各項規定。
十、為鼓勵更多優秀的設計新銳參賽並給予展現才華的機會，曾獲得本競賽首獎者將無法再次參賽，期望能以其他方式豐富發展。
十一、主辦單位將保留對於時裝設計新人獎比賽相關規範更改權利。

1. Only individual person is eligible to participate in the contest. A contestant must guarantee all the sketches and the designs are originated by himself / herself, and has not used for commercial sales and will follow the specifications and requests. No copy, piracy or intellectual property infringement acts are allowed. Should any of these acts be disclosed or found, the organizer reserves the right to inform related organizations, take appropriate actions in accordance with relevant rules and regulations, disqualify the contestant involved and / or recall his / her prize, and prohibit him / her from participating in this contest for 3 years. And if any infringement or loss thereof is caused to a third party, the contestant / winner involved should be held fully responsible without objection.
2. Finalists must use hangers and zippered garment protection bags for each outfit and label the following information of each outfit at the upper right corner on the garment bag:
- registration number (Please refer to the online registration form);
- front & back photos of the outfit;
- illustrations / photos of special way of wearing if necessary;
-a content description (e.g. a blouson, a skirt, etc.; including accessories if applicable).
Finalists must also label the registration number at the inner side of each outfit / accessory. Any loss of or damage to outfits caused by improper labeling will be contestants’ own responsibility without objection.
3. Only registration number can be shown on the submitted outfits. Name and any other marks must not reveal on the outfit. In case of any violation, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the contestant involved.
4. Submission / delivery of contestants’ portfolio / outfits will be at contestants’ expense. All contestants must adhere to the submission deadline. Contestants who miss the relevant deadlines will be rejected by the organizer. Contestants should make sure the portfolio / outfits are properly packed. The organizer is not responsible for any damage or lost which may occur during submission / delivery.
5. After the preliminary selection, the finalists will be informed by e-mail. The results of preliminary and final selections will also be publicized on TFDA official website, as well as on TTF official website. After the contest, all finalists must take all of their outfits back during the stipulated period (to be advised). To maintain the fairness of this contest, the finalists are obliged to submit 5 outfits to collect the prize.
6. Finalists must attend and present the contesting outfits at events and occasions relevant to the contest. The organizer owns the right to shoot the winning designs and reproduce the results of shooting in any format including but not limited to photograph, video and CD-ROM for display, publicity and promotion purposes. And the organizer owns the copyright of those photographs, videos and CD-ROMs. After the final selection, the organizer owns the right to present and exhibit the finalists’ designs in public.
7. Finalists warrant that music for the runway show does not infringe third party intellectual property or have being authorized, and they would indemnify the person / organizer if it does infringe third party intellectual property.
8. Finalists have the obligation to attend the final selection. Absence or failing to submit the original designs, the USD $1000 finalist prize will be waived.
9. Once registering this contest, all finalists acknowledge that they agree to all the requirements, terms and conditions of the contest as stated by the organizer.
10. To encourage more talented emerging designers and offer opportunities for showcasing, previous first prize winners in this competition will not be eligible to participate again.
11. The organizer reserves the right to make any necessary adjustment to the rules of this competition.

補助說明

CLAIM FOR REIMBURSEMENT

獲選入圍之外籍參賽者得申請決賽期間來回機票及本會安排之2日住宿，將於入圍後E-MAIL通知，請於規定期間繳交所需資料，逾時主辦單位將不予受理。

Foreign finalist residences outside of Taiwan can apply for round-trip air tickets and 2 days accommodation in the period of final selection. The application will be informed via e-mail. Please note the application shall be filled in the stipulated period.
