靈感來源 / 設計理念

My graduation collection explores the physiological and the visual aspects of getting dressed nowadays and what the three variables; body, dress and mirror are causing one's mind in the context of today's world? What happens to one's mind when trying to decide on an attire, the aim to create a perfect image framed in a mirror, the objectifying of self.

作品與「永續」、「功能」、「機能」之關聯性

My final project theme all began with a seminar I took on performance art where I examined my own personal style and dressing process internally and externally. I filmed myself getting dressed for four months everyday as a performance art project which led to my graduation collection. A lot of the garments are sustainable and made from reused leather, metals from old garages, mirrors, and recycled PVC- where I tried to capture all the memories and associations our clothes hold on to- which all come up in the complicated process of getting dressed. The design comes from a profound research upon our mind and subconscious trying to capture those confusing moments.
