SUSTAINABILITY and FUNCTION
The knit structures, textiles, and garment constructions are all developed independently, using computerized flat-knitting technology to simultaneously generate the pattern, structure, and textile during the knitting process. This approach reduces material waste associated with conventional cutting and improves resource efficiency, responding to the principles of sustainable design. The tension of ribbed structures, combined with transparent yarns, allows the garments to naturally mold to the body while providing elasticity, support, breathability, and comfort. Rather than requiring the body to conform to a fixed silhouette, the design responds to the body’s natural form and movement, using the interplay of translucency and coverage to embrace the diversity and autonomy of the female body. It integrates sustainability, functionality, aesthetics, and contemporary knitwear design into a unified approach.
