In a long-distance relationship, "I miss you" is said far more often than "I love vou." This relationship relies entirely on a small screen to stay connected. No matter how much I’m missing you , all my missing remains flat, locked within this tiny screen.
在此系列作品中使用棉紗為主要紗線，而棉紗因其天然纖維特性，成為永續發 展的重要選擇。棉花可再生、可生物降解，棉紗製品在使用壽命結束後能自然分解， 減少對環境的長期負擔。與合成纖維相比，棉線的生產過程能耗較低，若採用有機棉 或回收棉線，更可降低水資源消耗與農藥污染。棉線柔軟舒適，耐用度高，能延長產 品使用年限，減少浪費。透過針織技術，棉紗作品可依需求局部修補、改造，增加服 飾的可持續性。因此我選擇棉紗作為主要材質，不僅展現對環境友善的態度，也回應 當代設計中「減量製造、負責任生產」的核心理念，是實踐從原料到生命週期的全面 永續思考。
In this colletion , I choose cotton yarn as my main material beacuse of its natural fiber properties, Cotton is renewable and biodegradable, allowing cotton-based products to naturally decompose in the end of the use. Furthermore, compared with synthetic fibers, cotton requires less energy to produce. Soft, comfortable, and highly durable, cotton helps extend the lifespan of products and reduce waste. With knitting techniques, clothes can also be repaired or modified as needed, enhancing their sustainability. Therefore, I chose cotton yarn as the main material—not only to demonstrate an environmentally responsible attitude, but also to respond to the Morden design ethos of “less manufacturing, responsible production.” It embodies a holistic approach to sustainability, from materials to the full life cycle.
