靈感來源 / 設計理念

When the aliens' ship landed, they chose Thailand as their new home. The country which is divided into 77 provinces, and established them as their new strongholds. Their mission was to blend in flawlessly. "What do humans wear? How do they behave?" they asked themselves while meticulously observing and studying Thai arts and culture. They began to integrate their own culture with Thai traditions. They absorbed the essence of the nation, the silent elegance of the Thai greeting, the deep-rooted spirit of Thai arts and culture, the vibrant chaos of the streets, and the genuine warmth of the classic Thai smile.

In the middle of the crowd, who among them are the aliens? Who do you think they are? Will they be able to blend in perfectly with humans? You might be one of the people watching them, or perhaps… you might be one of them.

This collection is a story told through the cultural blending of textiles and fashion. Each piece of clothing is a study and an experiment in combining human and alien elements to create something new and strange. This question is expressed through the story, the fabric, the shapes, the colors, the techniques, and the patterns.

I invite you to look deeper into this collection. The story isn't meant to answer the question of who is who. Instead, it asks a powerful question to all of us: "What is true identity?" and "What truly defines humanity?"

It may not just be about what we wear or how we act, but the essence of the story we convey with every step we take. This experiment may not be for identifying them, but rather for helping us discover our true selves.

“Transforming Thai Heritage: A New Era of Thai Textiles and Fashion.”

With Local Thai Wisdom + Innovation + Sustainable + Creative + Sense of Thai.

“I am a Thai person with a strong determination to preserve and develop the value of local craftsmanship for the modern era and into the future.”

My goal is to blend my local, traditional Thai wisdom with modern innovation and technology to create textile and fashion collections that reflect the essence of "Cultural and artistic roots" in a contemporary context. My pieces not only express a fun, unique, and beautiful modern style, but also perfectly meet the needs of a modern lifestyle by balancing my Thai identity with sustainability.

My work is driven by the core concept of “Transformation,” which inspires the creation of new and valuable things across four key dimensions:

1. From Waste to Wear:

I breathe new life into fabric scraps from the fashion industry, leftover rolls, damaged fabric, and unused stock. I use a combination of natural, synthetic, and recycled fibers, blending them to create valuable new fabrics. This results in 100% genuine Thai handicrafts that are not only beautiful but also tell a story of conscious and eco-friendly creation.

2. Bridging Tradition and Tomorrow:

I merge the unique stories, values, and techniques of different local communities, including weaving, dyeing, patchwork, embroidery, printing, and weaving inspired by Thai basketry. This creates pieces that are distinct yet harmonious, ensuring that local craftsmanship is not just a thing of the past but a "new life" that grows and flourishes in the modern world and for the future.

3. Traditional with a Twist:

I reinterpret and present precious traditional Thai art forms like mural paintings, architecture, sculpture, and graphics. I create a new style of Thai graphic design that not only retains its authentic Thai charm but also opens a door to new understanding and originality for people around the world today.

4. Empowering the Makers:

I create a space for communities to be part of our production process (Crafts Collaboration). This supports their skill development to become professional artisans. This initiative creates jobs, generates income, and fosters pride in their craftsmanship, leading to a stable and sustainable future for them.
