Family is not our choice, and our feelings toward our parents are complex and intertwined. We strive to meet their expectations, but no matter how hard we try, we can never fully align with their ideals. Like characters in a Fassbinder film, we find ourselves trapped in roles we did not choose, constantly seeking recognition that may never come. This series delves into family relationships, with the hope that we can all live as our true selves. The presents we pack into different boxes to please our families are also the boxes that trap us, preventing us from growing into our true selves. My wish for everyone, myself included, is to meet our own expectations, define our own journey, and live authentically, rather than bending to the will of others.
